New Multimedia Project: Script Stream Machine

First update in a while!
I’ve been pretty busy with a number of projects this year and thought I’d share one.

I’m currently developing and producing a unique gameshow, Voltz Supreme's Script Stream Machine!

Audience members experience and contribute to a live semi-improvised interactive theatrical gameshow where the audience's ideas directly influence wild stories and skits, scripted and dynamically crafted by the superpowers of AI.

Each episode, three voice actors will act out scripts as they see them for the first time, accompanied by myself as host (also narrator, SFX, music & occasional actor) PLUS a small live band. 

We’re currently in the “pilot-season” phase where in each episode, we're testing out different ideas and trying to get a feel for what works best. I’m using my garage as a mini-theatre, fitted out will all the essential equipment required for a full production.

Each episode is recorded (video & audio) and an edited version will be made public. In these early stages, I’m just releasing snippets and previews.

So far I’ve had mixed results, as expected. AI can do some amazing things very quickly but I’ve run into reliability issues. I might prepare and test some prompts, getting everything working smoothly for a script/skit but then ChatGPT tends to go a bit off the rails on the night. I’m currently focussed on getting a nice balance between utilising AI tech to create scripts using audience inputs and allowing actor’s to be spontaneous and work around the flaws of AI’s unpredictability.

I hope to do a few more private shows before attempting a public gig at the end of the year.
