The Krispy Kraken Pirate Podcast is a dark-comedy audio-drama that follows the unpiratey protagonist Voltz Supreme’s journey to potentially becoming a fearsome pirate. After washing up on the shore of a strange pirate cove on Scumm Island, he finds himself at the famous Krispy Kraken, a pirate tavern owned by the notorious, now ex-pirate, Captain Two Eyed Willy!
In order to prove himself worthy of joining a new pirate crew (and pay for his rent), Voltz is put to work everyday by Two Eyed Willy, helping at the tavern, writing new music for the tavern band The Chum Buckaneers and taking part in epic piratey adventures.
The podcast is a mix of historical fact and fantasy with every episode focusing on a different pirate related theme with it’s own story arc. While the focus will be on original material by Voltz Supreme, the podcast is also a celebration of pirate pop-culture and music from films, video games and beyond. The Krispy Kraken is particularly inspired by the video game series originally created by Ron Gilbert, Monkey Island, as well as it’s music by main composer, Michael Land.

The Pirate Music & Sound Effects Royalty-Free Pack is an ever growing collection of original music and sound effects created by Voltz Supreme. It’s available to be used by game developers and film producers via a number of asset stores. As new material is written and created for the podcast, it will be added to the pack with each new update. Owners of the pack and those interested can follow along with the podcast and be on the listen for new music and sound effects.
I hope that by covering different pirate themes every podcast episode, and coming up with new music and sfx for them, I will end up with one of the most comprehensive pirate music packs available.
Content will not be limited to material from the podcast.

“Where can I buy the music packs?”
The Krispy Kraken Soundtracks will also be based on but not limited to original content from the podcast series. These soundtracks will be made available online via music stores and streamers like Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes etc. I expect a number of these to be released over the next year as I create new material.
